1. About These Terms
These terms apply to your use of hiabtruckhire.co.uk and to quotations and bookings made with hiabtruckhire.co.uk, Miles Platting, Manchester, M40 8HD. By using the site or booking our services you accept these terms.
This website is operated by Nortons Hiab Services Limited (Company No. 6140715), trading as hiabtruckhire.co.uk, a company registered in England and Wales.
2. Quotations
Quotations are free of charge and without obligation. Prices quoted are based on the information you provide — including load weight, dimensions, access and locations — and may be revised if that information changes. Unless stated otherwise, quotations remain open for 30 days.
3. Bookings & Cancellations
Bookings are confirmed once we agree a date and price with you. If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give us as much notice as possible; charges may apply where a vehicle has already been allocated or dispatched.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate weights, dimensions and access information for the load and both sites.
- Ensure safe, lawful access at the collection and delivery points, including any permissions needed for the vehicle to enter or park.
- Advise us of hazards such as overhead cables, soft ground or restricted access before the vehicle arrives.
5. Our Service
We carry out lifting and transport using lorry-mounted cranes operated by trained drivers. All work is subject to a suitability assessment on arrival; our drivers may decline a lift they judge unsafe. We carry goods in transit and public liability insurance — details available on request.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability in connection with any job is limited to the value of that job or the applicable limit of our insurance cover, whichever is higher. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including traffic incidents, weather and site conditions.
7. Website Content
Content on this website is provided for general information. We work to keep it accurate but it does not constitute a contractual offer. All photography is of our own vehicles and work and must not be reused without permission.
8. Privacy
Personal information submitted through this site is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law
